Mitchell Stroicz

Clinical Psychologist

Mitchell is a registered Clinical Psychologist who completed a Masters of Psychology at the University of Western Sydney. He has experience in public health, private practice and not-for-profit settings, and has seen clients under MHCP, Work Cover, ATAPS, NDIS and EAP.

Mitchell’s main commitment as a psychologist is to help his clients move closer towards their goals. Whether this be through developing strategies to better deal with low mood and stress, working through grief and loss, overcoming phobias or improving relationship functioning, he is dedicated to providing clients with high quality evidence-based psychological therapy. The work he does is collaborative and tailored to the individual.

Mitchell’s areas of interest and specialty include: depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, relationship issues and bereavement. His therapeutic approach is flexible, though tends to utilise a mix of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while also drawing upon other evidence based approaches including Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

Mitchell is available for appointments on Fridays and Saturdays at our Brunswick clinic.
